September 17 - Ray enjoyed "homefield" advantage as Clinton County Speedway is only a few miles form his home. The surface was very choppy and many teams had a hard time adapting to the conditions. Ray made the right adjustments and ran within a few car lengths of Steve Buckwalter. On the final lap the driveline in Buckwalter's mount couldn't take any more punishment and he pulled into the infield. Ray took over the top spot and lead the most important lap of the day and took the checkers!

By taking the green flag in his heat race, Ray captured an unpresendented 6th straignt ARDC Championship then went on to win the heat race. Ray went on to post a top 5 in the evening's feature event. Ray commented about the season and his 6th championship, “It’s special because of all the hard work we had to do this year,” noted Bull. “My Mega Motorsports crew worked so hard because of the mechanical problems we had during the season. And my teammate, Dave Shirk, gave up his ride to me when we had some of those problems. This team just makes this championship very special.”
